There are several islands in a very short distance from Ermioni/Porto Hydra. Some of them are famous and very popular among both locals and tourists such as Hydra and Spetses or Poros and some are home of hidden bays and beaches like Dokos island. In case you have not rented a boat for your own, here you can see how to get to the most popular islands by a scheduled ferry boat. You can always choose to go by water taxi, it is more expensive from the scheduled ferries but they are ready to take you anywhere and pick you up or deliver you to your villa 24/7.
Daytrips to nearby islands when staying in Ermioni or Porto Hydra Village

- From Ermioni for Rock villa guests: Hop on a scheduled ferry like this one below. (for more info and timetable call +30 6977248369) or visit their website. You can always go from Ermioni to Hydra island by a bigger ferry like the one you'll find on ferryscanner.
- Water Taxi: Vaggelis +306932421114
Drive to Kosta to find the scheduled ferry or taxis. It would be way more expensive to order a taxi to pick you up from the villa, but it is another option. For more info and timetable call +302298072245 (port police) or visit the website. For all general info about Spetses.

From Ermioni you can always book online a bigger ferry (Flying dolphin) to Spetses island.
To go to Poros you'll need to drive to Galatas, which is about 30 mins drive from Porto Hydra Village or 45 mins from Ermioni. You can take a ferry from there which goes very often, every 20 mins so no need to plan much in advance. The ferry ride is just a couple mins and a few euros. For ferry timetable visit this website. From Ermioni, there's another option, going directly by ferry, (flying dolphin) that you can book online or in Ermioni.

It's advisable to book your tickets online in advance. Ticket prices to Aegina vary from €10.50 to €19, with a frequent schedule leaving every hour (or more often) Most Athens's ferries depart from Piraeus Port, which is easily accessible from anywhere in Athens. From Vouliagmeni, from our apartments if you haven't rented a car and don't want to go by taxi, you can use public transport: Go to Lok bus stop to jump on the 122 bus to Glyfada square (Plateia Glyfadas) and change there for the tram T7 which goes all the way to Piraeus Port. Get off at Agia Triada and you'll be about 2-3 mins walk away from the port. Check Google Maps or ask anybody on the street for directions.
